My wife Darla & I had the pleasure of working with Mike Pomeroy Construction on multiple occasions. They have replaced windows, repaired siding, and completed a total kitchen renovation for us.

Mike provided us with initial estimates and breakdown of costs for our projects. They completed each project in a timely manner and they chose and managed subcontractors as well. They left our home clean and organized. Special attention was given to ensuring the rest of the home was not disturbed during the completion of the projects.

Project: Master Bath Redesign

When we decided to remodel two bathrooms in our current home I contacted Mike Pomeroy of Skyline Construction Company to discuss our vision/plan. We consulted with Mike to determine different designs that would meet our expectations and budget. After reviewing the layout and what was required Mike developed a plan and estimate within a couple of days. The project required a redesign for the master bath which combined two rooms which were divided by a pocket door into one large room which included a full walk-in shower and a linen closet, vanity and stool. The main bath was also a total tear out of the existing room and required new sheet rock, tile, tub, vanity, stool and tub. The final project exceed our expectations and came in at budget. The bathrooms are beautiful! Mike and his team were very professional and extremely focused on finishing the project on time. I would recommend Mike for any remodeling projects in your home.

Project: Addition of Two Bedrooms and Full Bathroom

The addition of the two bedrooms and full bathroom sure have added to our home. It’s hard to remember how the unfinished basement looked. Your idea of using the oak shelf to finish off the top of the concrete blocks really added to the rooms. I’m really glad you talked me into sheet rocking and spraying the ceilings. They finished the rooms.

Project: Multiple Projects Throughout Home

Michael of Skyline Construction Company completed the following to our Anoka home:

  • Customized an oak railing in our living room.
  • Installed a bay window in our dining room.
  • Separated one of our bedrooms to extend our dining room area and master bedroom.
  • Built an additional garage, attached to the back of our home, with a family room above the garage.
  • Completed some small projects in our lower level.

His rates were very reasonable and the results were awesome! I would recommend him to our friends and family. And would definitely hire him again for any future projects.

Project: Hunting Cabin

Skyline Construction Company has done several home improvement projects for my wife and I. The workmanship was outstanding and his attention to detail is noticed. Although construction can be messy it was kept to a minimum and things were always cleaned up at the end of the day.

In 2000 Mike added a four season porch to our home that is admired by our neighbors, friends, and family. In 1998 we had replaced our windows, doors and siding. Mike researched and found windows for the porch to match the rest of the house.

In 2007 Mike replaced the original wrought iron railing, dark stained interior doors and molding with oak.

In 2010 Mike designed and built a second bathroom in an unfinished area of our home. The subcontractors who Mike used had to measure up to his high standards, thus a beautiful bathroom was added to our home. Mike also advised us as to what materials were to be used, how they would be installed and all expectations were met.

Mike Pomeroy is an exceptional contractor who has high standards in his workmanship and this is evident in the finished projects. Mike shows great pride in his work and is quick to correct any problems. Estimates were always on target or if problems arose they were explained in advance with new estimates.
